Chemical peels are a core clinical skin treatment. This course builds the theory and hands-on skill to select and deliver peels safely. You learn to tailor each peel to the client in front of you.

- History and development of chemical peels.
- Acid and base chemistry, skin layers, wound healing and peel depth.
- Peel types: superficial, medium, deep, combination, sequential and segmental.
- Facial and body protocols.
- Skin assessment, including Fitzpatrick skin typing.
- Consultation, consent and managing client expectations.
- Adapting peels for sensitive, acne-prone and pigmented skin.
- Choosing peels for acne, pigmentation, ageing skin and texture.
- Planning peels alongside microneedling, laser and prescriber-led treatments.

- Setting up a safe, hygienic treatment area.
- Performing a full facial peel on a live model.
