This course is for qualified practitioners who want to offer platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments. It combines the science of PRP with practical clinical skills. You learn to prepare and deliver PRP for skin, scalp and scarring concerns, using the client’s own blood.
- Core Knowledge
- 10 hours pre-study + 2 hours online
- The science of platelet-rich plasma: composition, growth factors and healing mechanisms.
- Blood physiology and PRP preparation, including centrifuge handling and safety.
- Facial and scalp anatomy for skin rejuvenation and collagen induction.
- Clinical indications for PRP:
- Facial rejuvenation
- Hair thinning (androgenetic alopecia)
- Acne scarring and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
- Fine lines and skin texture
- Contraindications, client selection and risk management.
- Consultation, consent, aftercare and ethics.
- Includes a training manual, consent forms, pre-treatment guides, aftercare instructions and sample treatment protocols.
- Hands-On Training with Live Models
- 3 hours in person
- Safe, sterile blood draw and centrifugation for a good PRP yield.
- Microneedling and injection techniques for:
- Full-face rejuvenation
- Under-eye dark circles and hollows
- Scalp and hairline
- Supervised treatments on live models using different delivery methods (syringe, microneedling pen, nappage).
- Consultation and clinical photography skills to educate clients and track progress.
- Client safety, avoiding complications and post-treatment care.
